Just a quick post tonight from my new little space on the internet. As you may have noticed, my blog has been up and down over the past few days as we do the big switchover from Blogger to WordPress and into the big new world of being self-hosted. I guess in some ways, my little ol’ blog is growing up.
And that means I have to grow along with it!
As I sit here typing, I’m actually riding a very steep learning curve as I figure out how to post, adjust, customize and make things just the way I want them. In the next couple of days you might notice that little things are changing just about as often as my outfit on a race morning. And if you know me, you know that’s a lot! Please bear with me as I change, fiddle and experiment with everything…
Slow is the New Fast is looking pretty different from here on out but it’s still the same me, writing about myself and my running, my life post-injury and all of the little bumps and quirks that go along with trying to be an ultra runner and boymom-extraordinaire at the same time.
Sharing my life through this blog has been an integral part of my recovery and of everything I’ve managed to do since that I never thought I could. In the past 6 years I’ve changed immensely and I guess like me, I’m excited to see my blog change a little bit too. Thank you for following along and being part of my journey.
So just in like running where injuries, setbacks and bad days throw a wrench into things, thanks for hanging in there as I go through a few more growing pains as I get this new blog all set up.
